Kiwi Safaris NZ - Our Team Photo

The Kiwi Team

We are privileged to have some of the most diverse and experienced people within the hunting industry as part of the Kiwi Safaris team here in New Zealand.  With the family atmosphere that embraces the team it is not surprising that everyone has been together for years. Rodon for the most part is in the office keeping the lines of communication open, corresponding, marketing and keeping the paperwork in meticulous order, although often out at the lodge and sometimes helping with field work.  Colin keeps the team together on the ground and still personally does a large portion of the guiding. Colin also assists with the marketing, attending hunting shows worldwide and communicating with hunters, Colin speaks fluent Spanish. Our team of dedicated guides has been especially chosen and are all seasoned and experienced mountain guides.

There are not too many situations which Mitch has not experienced, a stickler for detail, wealth of  knowledge, great sense of humor, enthusiastic and passionate drive to get his hunters great trophies but at the same time laid back, patient and fun to be around make Mitch very unique and a valuable senior member of the team.

John Leath

John has the outdoors in his blood. He is an accomplished mountaineer, a competitive kayaker and a keen hunter. The mountains are his passion. John is always up for a challenge, he is in great shape and not scared of hard work.  When you're around John you just know that you are in good hands and feel comfortable and confident to give him the reins.  But when the day is over and you are back at the lodge John is casual, relaxed and laughs easily.  A true professional and a perfect gentlemen.

Fraser Cooper

Very rarely does a guide have the precise balance of youthfulness and experience.  Fraser is clean cut, polite, eager to please and energetic young man but with over 10 years of guiding experience in New Zealand and some in North America.  Fraser a keen hunter himself and has hunted in Africa.  Whether you a young hunter wanting to get out and stretch the legs or an older gentlemen wanting to be treated with respect, Fraser ticks all the boxes of a great all round guide.

Leeann Lott

Lodge staff - Stew Point Lodge

Lee's bubbly cheerful personality is infectious, fun and extremely easy to get along with, nothing ever seems to be a problem for Lee. Meal times are a real treat, the only complaint ever heard is that our guests have put on weight during their stay. With years of catering experience from small groups to large dinner functions Leeann has the knowledge and ability to deal with most groups and their dietary requirements. Although all the background work of supplies, cooking and cleaning is often not noticed Lee is certainly a key pin in the team effort during your hunt.
